A European Sales Manager role which focuses of developing and executing a strategy which will establish our European presence. Identifying and approaching key distribution partners and launching industry leading products to the water/waste sector. Commutable to Manchester. JOB SPECIFICATION - European Sales Manager - Sensors Working closely with both the Managing Director and the UK Sales Manager, this role is key to the success of our next stage of development. Creating and then spearheading the European strategy, building on some warm but limited relationships (Spain and Czech Republic), although ultimately identifying new potential partners throughout Europe. Research, Identify and target potential distribution and key customer partners across key European Countries. Create a market strategy to approach and engage with appropriate partners. Run collaborative trials with potential clients. Train, educate, motivate and support partners in end user selling (when appropriate). Consistently reassess the strategy to ensure it is fit for purpose. Based from the Manchester office with the view that 1 week per month would be spent travelling (more if appropriate or necessary although this is driven by you). REQUIREMENTS - European Sales Manager - Sensors To be successful in your application you will have a proven track record of success from within a European focused consultative technical sales role. Demonstrable skills in identifying, approaching and converting distributors/partners. A second and ideally third European language. Experience of a technical product – ideally but not essentially, similar to Test & Measurement, Calibration, Sensors or Instrumentation. Any exposure to water treatment, water providers, waste water or environmental sectors would be a distinct advantage. Flexibility (due to volume of travel), tenacity and the drive to go the extra mile. THE COMPANY - European Sales Manager – Sensors Born out of a university project we have gone from strength to strength over the last 10 years. Launching new industry break through products to the waste water and water treatment industry. The last 5 years have seen us opening and partnering with distributors across the US and Canada, with future global expansion in the strategy. We are on the verge of our next huge growth spurt, an Ammonia based detection product with non-contactless measurement technique. It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Technical consultative selling, Test & Measurement, sensors, instruments, compliance, process control, waste water, water treatment, water authorities, manufacturing, production.
