This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele’s highly rated School of Medicine at its Royal Stoke University Hospital campus.

You will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to support the MBChB programme, working within a team of administrators to provide support to students in Years 3 to 5 of the Undergraduate Medical curriculum and the Hospital Dean/Deputy Dean. You will take responsibility for assisting all relevant teaching staff and relevant student cohort and the administration of activities located at the Royal Stoke site. Tasks will include diary management, organising meetings, room bookings, and support for financial and recruitment tasks.

You will possess 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics & English with either an EDCL Level 1 or 2 or equivalent qualification including a component that contains Microsoft Office, or an equivalent NVQ 2 in Business Administration, or significant recent relevant work experience in a similar role.  Previous experience of regular use of Microsoft Office software and maintenance of computerised records systems is essential as well previous experience of working in a similar administrative role. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
