iOS Developer- Lichfield - £30,000 - £38,000 Pension, Flexible Working, 25 Days Holiday Bank holidays The Role A passionate and talented iOS Developer with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience is required for a leading software house in Lichfield. As the iOS Developer you will work across multiple work streams to develop and support the companies Mobile Application. As the iOS Developer you will develop software solutions that achieve customer requirements/stories and deliver a high standard of software quality with minimal defects/bugs. You will provide accurate information to senior management and other stakeholders while ensuring services are delivered in accordance with KPI's and exceeding these where possible. Part of your role as the iOS Developer will involve keeping up to date on emerging technology and provide suggestions/recommendations on improvements while continuously striving for improvement through adhering to Development Best Practice. You will attend daily Scrum and share progress of in-flight work items in order to provide support to colleagues, devoting time to impart expertise, build confidence and express positive expectations. Also, when necessary, you will provide support for pre-sales team when required, including involvement in bid documentation iOS Developer Requirements - A minimum of 2 years' experience working within native iOS Development - Agile Methodologies - Evidence of Apps published on Apple App Store - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services - Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch", Haptic - Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers - Knowledge of the iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks - Understanding of Apples iOS design principles and interface guidelines - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git - Familiarity with continuous integration - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications - Consuming REST/WCF Services The Company A leading software house that provide software solutions to the property and rental market.
