System Support Engineer
A market leading transportation technology business, with offices around the globe are looking to build out their UK function, recruiting a number of people into an already established unit, with the current focus being a System Support Engineer. Being a leading provide of technology and product services to the rail industry, you'll be working in an innovative and forward thinking team, working with cutting edge technology. The System Support Engineer will be providing support to a number of technologies and systems, with a particular focus on both software and hardware. The Systems Support Engineer will have the following responsibilities: - Customer system requirements capture and analysis. - Specification drafting. - System integration. - Technical customer support. - System acceptance tests. - Conduct trial projects. - Troubleshooting hardware and communication. - Software changes. - Hardware design. As a System Support Engineer, you will ideally have the following experience: - System engineering and integrated software systems, both software and hardware. - Analytical/problem solving skills. - Railway domain knowledge. - Experienced in a support role. - System Configuration. - Working on a Windows OS. - Ethernet, GPS, Antenna's. - Integrated and split displays. - Management of software deployments.
