Customer Account Engineer
This company are a market leader in their field and a Tier 1 automotive supplier, currently experiencing exceptional growth. With a global presence in over 30 countries, this employer offers the benefits you would expect from a major blue chip organisation. They are currently seeking additional support in the Customer Account team who develop and manage new and existing business opportunities. Specific duties Ensure that the customers requirements are understood and considered in the processing of quotations. Seek and develop new business opportunities to maximise sales with existing customers. Approve quotes prior to release, ensuring that it meets with company requirements Ensure a consistent and professional level of customer service through a proactive, problem solving approach Manage the interface between the customer, the manufacturing plant and the global network Maintain records of technical/commercial activities in line with Company and quality standards Work within a multi-function team to generate and introduce VA/VE cost savings. Ideally possessing a qualification in an engineering discipline, or with relevant vocational experience, you will ideally have knowledge gained in the automotive or automotive component manufacturing environment. However, consideration will also be given to applicants possessing a technical qualification and customer service experience in any manufacturing or engineering field. You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial and communication skills, including the ability to manage the process of quotations and reporting, BOM's and labour analysis. You will be self motivated and goal orientated and be willing to travel within the UK and overseas.
