Supplier Quality Engineer

We are currently looking for innovative and tenacious Supplier Quality Engineers who have the personal attributes necessary for launching and delivering components into a world class manufacturing facility. Principal Accountabilities: - Responsibility for the new product introduction of purchased parts for a specific area of the vehicle. - Ensure components achieve/exceed the required quality level and spec from the supply base - Concern investigation and resolution in project and series - Conduct NPI & process audits and develop supplier processes at supplier locations. - Support production preparation to ensure smooth production ramp-up and maintain stability in series - Manage and control up front quality planning within the supply base through APQP activity. - Manage and control approval of production parts and processes (PPAP) for components. - Implement and manage part and process improvement activities. - Development and acheivement of KPIs - Generation of reports as required for Project and Management meetings - Understanding of lean techniques to support problem solving - Catia experience and working knowledge of GD&T - Knowledge and experience of Plastic Injection Moulding manufacturing techniques and process optimisation Ideally, candidates need to beeducated to degreelevel or HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline with extensive relevant experience.
