Role To provide strong and effective Telecommunications CLAM management including category management of inventory, including Central Distribution Centre (CDC), stock in field, returns sortation / reuse and virtual warehouse stock holdings for the nominated contract and reporting. Delivering a 'best in class' service, whilst minimising the liability and risk internally and maximising the supply chain efficiencies in procurement and throughput of stock and meeting customer expectations. Required skills Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management and a demonstrable record of success Extensive experience within the mobile telecommunications industry Proven experience operating within a third party logistics environment (preferred but not essential) A wealth of experience of managing external client relationships Excellent understanding of forecasting and planning principles and systems Excellent communication skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Ideally able to use SAP and understand Warehouse Management Systems (for example JDA) Graduate Calibre or equivalent Understanding of the telecoms industry Driving process execution and review for continuous improvement opportunities Evidence of developing leadership skills and strong analytical skills Ability to build strong working relationship and influence at all levels of an organisation and with clients at a senior level Strong commercial acumen Strong project management, team facilitation and influencing skills Awareness in supply chain risk management and materials management Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail MUST HAVE ITIL processes Service delivery management and principles Project People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
