An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, proactive and hungry Area Sales Manager to join our team. We have two positions: - a Sales Manager covering the Midlands and Northern UK region - a Sales Manager covering South-West England. EQ Software was established in 2000 and was the first dedicated business management software solution of its kind to be designed for the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting our technology based solutions and identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained cold calling and prospecting. Key responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager: Achieve monthly targets in respect of new software license sales Responsibility for identifying, developing and closing sales via sustained cold calling and prospecting through to customer presentations. Fully understand the business, buying and decision making process of prospects as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts Understand and sell the whole EQ product portfolio, as appropriate to customer needs Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the KBB market, including the industry, competitors and internal developments to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly sales forecast reports and ensure all information on EQ CRM is kept to date. The succesful Area Sales Manager will have this profile. Essential is to have: Minimum 5 years experience within the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom market A proven track record of selling technology based solutions to Director / Owner level Living in one of the following counties: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire First class verbal and written communication skills Highly persuasive and articulate personality Excellent commercial skills and business sense Enthusiasm and motivation Eagerness to learn a proven ability to organise own schedule and priorities Discipline, responsible, punctual, good attention to detail Desirable in the profile is Existing contacts within relevant organisations in the KBB business Experience and understanding of the IT aspects in a business context Educated to "A" level.
