A true market leader and Global Manufacturing Group requires an experienced Automotive Key Account Manager or Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to manage and develop sales with our largest global Automotive OEM- JL. BASIC: up to £65,000 (Flexible DOE) bonus - OTE £78,000 Company Car Group Pension Additional Group Benefits LOCATION: Midlands - Homebased covering the UK- Ideally Midlands based. As part of our Global sales operation, we wish to recruit a Key Account Sales Manager or Senior Sales Engineer to manage our relationship with JLR in the UK. THE ROLE - Key Account Sales Manager - Automotive OEM JLR As Key Account Sales Manager - JLR - you will be the interface between JLR and our Manufacturing and design teams. You will manage the commercial relationship, oversee all sales, program and project development activities. Dealing at all levels within the account you will manage the strategic overview of the sales process from cradle to grave controlling the enquiry to quotation programme, working with engineering and development teams internally and across our global sites. Reporting to our VP Sales Europe you will be a key player in a matrix structure with a primary focus on delivering strong sales growth and enhancing profitability within this account. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Key Account Sales Manager - Automotive OEM JLR We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who: Are experienced Sales Engineers / Key Account Managers / Sales Managers with a proven track record of sales and business development within Automotive OEM, Ideally JLR, Ford, or Nissan. That could be consumables, components or sub-systems as long as the sell is specification based and project led Are self-motivated, able to work off their own initiative and be the “Lead / Product Champion” for our organisation within JLR. Degree qualified or calibre in a relevant engineering discipline Strong presentation and communication skills at all levels Highly analytical, driven and proactive with sound decision making ability, able to demonstrate a good understanding of the markets that we operate in.
