Production Team Leader (Electronics)
Are you a Production Team Leader with good knowledge of soldering? An innovative electronics company are recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join their production team in Stoke. A competitive salary is on offer, working 8-5 Mon-Thu with an early finish at 12.10 on a Friday, plus 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays. A flexible working hours scheme is in place also As Production Team Leader you will be managing a team of 20 production operatives within the soldering department. Daily duties will include monitoring production performance, quality, and identifying problem areas determining solutions to these. You will be expected to manage and reduce costs in areas of material, waste and overtime. You will be an excellent people manager, with good experience of conducting appraisals, managing team attendance and holidays as well as motivating and delegating tasks to ensure agreed output for customers. It is essential that you have previous supervisory experience, managing teams up to 20 staff, but also you must have good working knowledge of electronic soldering. A good understanding of quality and manufacturing systems (Kaizen, Lean, 5S etc) is required to be successful in this role. Qualified with an NVQ Team Leader Level 3 or equivalent, with GCSEs English and Maths with good level of literacy in Excel and Word.
