A leading manufacturer of precision components to the aerospace sector has a new vacancy for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager. With proven sales to the aerospace sector you will develop both new and existing customers. Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Mansfield, Sheffield, Stafford, Tamworth, Loughborough, Sutton in Ashfield. Salary: £ 65,000 - £ 80,000 (OTE) p.a. car pension. Suitable for: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, BDM, Commercial Manager, Sales Director. The Role You will be responsible for the development of sales to both existing and new customers promoting the company's range of products and services to the aerospace sectors. Possessing proven account management skills you will create and deliver presentations and negotiate orders. Key responsibilities: Identify new clients Create and deliver technical sales presentations to existing and prospective clients Lead the creation of detailed estimates, sales quotations, pre-qualification documents and bid summaries Negotiate and secure orders Measure and improve enquiry and quotation volumes Keep updated of developments in the Aerospace markets and potential opportunities Work with the Operations team to provide an estimating service in a timely manner Prepare and compile estimates for new business in response to requests for proposals The Person With proven sales experience to the aerospace sector you will possess drive and energy to increase profits for this rapidly expanding and successful engineering company. An effective communicator you will be commercially astute and be able to write bids to satisfy customer requirements. You will have a high level of business acumen and proven knowledge of the aerospace and manufacturing industries.
