The Purchasing Administrator will support the Purchasing Manager with the day to day administrative duties of the purchasing function. The job will be based in Derby, which is just one of the sites within the UK. The successful candidate will be expected to help manage existing suppliers, liaise internally with departmental manager to meet their requirements and manage consumable stock levels. Client Details A successful and expanding family owned business based in the Derby, my client operate from multiple sites across Derbyshire, servicing the UK as a whole and process hundreds of thousands of tonnes of material per annum. Following a period of growth they have invested in the latest technology to enhance their operational efficiency and are therefore predicting sustained and continued growth across. Description As the Purchasing Administrator you would be responsible for the following. Processing purchase orders Good in control Stock management Cyclical stock counts Supplier pricing audits Data input KPI's Profile The successful candidate will ideally have some of the following key skills and qualities: Analytical, logical and outside-the-box approach Good communication skills Strong negotiator Tenacious and driven to find the best solutions Excel skills Cost control awareness Previous experience in purchasing System use i.e. SAGE Job Offer £18,000 - £22,000
