Training 2000 is a charitable trust set up by a consortium of Lancashire businesses and is now one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with over 50 years' experience of delivering high quality work-based learning and training programmes to industry and individuals. We have grown to around 240 staff and many centres across the North West and other areas of the UK, working with national employers across a wide range of sectors, whilst maintaining local support. An important Training Partner vacancy has arisen in conjunction with one of our key customers, Rolls Royce to be based in Derby. The role will be a full time, temporary position (initially for a period of 12 months). About the role: This role will be responsible for ensuring learning and development is compliant with both business and learner requirements. This will involve the development of Operational Training Plans and processes through conducting comprehensive training needs analysis through to design, delivery and evaluation. The successful applicant will therefore need to be self-motivated with strong training and development skills and strong project management experience and possess excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and motivational skills. Requirements: You need to be committed, passionate and driven to deliver the company's objective of an Amazing place with Amazing people The successful candidate will be educated to HNC level or similar and have the equivalent experience and capability. The successful candidate will have suitable breadth and depth of understanding of the manufacturing industry, an excellent understanding of Learning and Development. A good understanding of process improvement would also be beneficial. Reporting to the Business Manager - Commercial Programmes, this position will require substantial experience of working within the Manufacturing/Engineering sector and will be familiar with HSE and Quality requirements. Terms & Conditions: This is a temporary post for 12 months with the possibility of an extension to complete project work. Appointments are subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS; formally the CRB), or a check via the Update Service on a relevant enhanced disclosure.
