Telesales & Digital Account Manager

Toy distributors working with some of the UK's key retailers

Our current customer base includes the Education Sector, High Street Retailers, Mail Order Catalogues and some of the largest dotcom's.

We would like to recruit a confident individual to join our growing team in the role of Telesales & Digital Account Manager, the skills of a reliable, honest and enthusiastic individual of any age to join our successful team....immediate start date available.

The successful applicant will be hardworking and have experience working within a sales driven/E-commerce environment.

A positive attitude is essential as is the ability to work within a pressured environment. The successful applicant will become a valued member of our small team.

Duties will include -                                  

  • New account acquisition including prospecting, independently following up on inbound leads, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation and closing
  • Regularly monitoring our customer websites to ensure products are being presented as best as they can
  • Proactively develop and manage a mix of small and large deals, while focusing on closing deals with a high likelihood of success
  • Carrying out sales reports to identify areas of weakness/growth
  • Once familiar with the product begin to be proactive in sales by implementing an agreed online sales strategy with EverEarth.
  • Keep up to date on new product releases to maximise opportunities in the prospect and account base
  • Online content management
  • Social Media content management
  • Effectively deal with telephone enquiries for products; compiling information on the desired products including prices and terms.
  • Liaise between management and customers to efficiently answer general sales/product enquiries
  • Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives.
  • Achieve team and individual sales targets as set by the Management Team within the agreed time scale.
  • Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work ensuring a high level of team relationships exist.
  • Interest in the Nursery/Toy industry
  • Able to attend a few Fairs

The candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills and an understanding of Sage Line 50. Previous administration experience would be of an advantage although not an essential.

The ideal candidate will have high organisational skills, be reliable, being professional, punctual and willing to go above and beyond their duty.

Salary: £20,000 per annum plus bonus
