The role
This is a key position within Citizens Advice Coventry and has a huge impact on the services we deliver to the community.

As Head of Targeted Services, and a member of the senior management team, you will play a significant strategic and operational role, and have responsibility for the development and implementation of targeted services with our private, public, and third sector partners.

This will include maintaining positive relationships with our partners and identifying further opportunities for service and business development.

Other duties and responsibilities will include:

Work with the CEO to support the delivery of the Coventry Citizens Advice business plan, governance and audit requirements
Assist with any other projects or appropriate work as directed by the CEO
Promote the aims, policies, and membership requirements of the Citizens Advice service

If you are an experienced project manager with outstanding interpersonal skills, who enjoys delivering on projects that have a positive impact on the lives of people in the community, with passion, great vision and leadership, then this is the role for you.

To be successful you will have:

Demonstrable programme, project management and implementation skills.
Thorough understanding of the voluntary sector and its role in delivering services to vulnerable people and a deep understanding of the issues faced by those people.
The ability to lead and manage teams and is able to demonstrate emotional intelligence and a positive attitude to motivate paid staff and volunteers.
