Full time- 35 hours a week

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Programmes and Development directorate which ensures that The Trust's support for young people is the best it can be, through enhancing the quality and relevance of support at every step of the young person's journey.

We are seeking an outstanding literacy and numeracy tutor who is passionate about improving outcomes for disadvantaged young people in the UK. To be successful in this role you will be enthusiastic and motivated with relevant experience of delivering English and maths programmes at Entry Level up to Level 2. This role is varied and fast paced and combines front line delivery with opportunities to contribute to the development and implementation of The Trust's literacy, language and numeracy strategy. The successful applicant will be a passionate and committed practitioner who has an ability to delivery outstanding teaching and learning to young people in Prince's Trust target groups.

Interviews w/c 7th and 14th August

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check

We prefer to hire people directly, but we do have a preferred supplier list for when we'd like a helping hand. We'll be in touch if we need you.

We reserve the right to change the closing date depending on the number of responses received. Please submit your application as soon as possible to ensure it is considered in the selection process.
