Infrastructure - Messaging Systems engineer - Windows Server, Exchange 2010\2016, Cisco ESA and Skype for Business One of Talent's leading clients is urgently looking for an Infrastructure - Messaging Systems engineer - (Windows Server, Exchange 2010\2016, Cisco ESA and Skype for Business) They are looking for an experienced, talented and inspirational Infrastructure - Messaging Systems engineer. You will be responsible for the delivery, administration, maintenance and continual service improvement of internal messaging system platforms within the enterprise. The position is to be based within their Stoke office. This is a superb opportunity for someone looking to further their career in a technical and innovative company. Ideal candidates will possess the following skills: - Experience of working on highly available large scale enterprise platforms. - Good knowledge and understanding of Windows Server and Exchange 2010\2016. - Strong troubleshooting methodology and experience of troubleshooting production system issues. - Understanding of Network Load Balancers, LAN's and Firewalls. - Ability to manage conflicting priorities, work independently, multitask and meet tight deadlines. - Experience of delivering technical projects to a structured methodology. - Can do attitude and willingness to learn new skills. - Able to create cohesive and accurate technical documentation. - Able to present and communicate technical ideas to senior business stakeholders. Role Overview: - Maintain uptime, capacity and availability of all platforms with the remit of the post. - Troubleshoot and resolve service affecting incidents and problems within the remit of the post. - Respond to technical issues escalated to the Team and restoration of services within expected timescales. - Contribute to a Problem Analysis investigation role. - Analyse services and make service improvement recommendations. - Administration and maintenance of Messaging Systems platforms. - Communicate effectively with senior managers and stakeholders when handling escalated incidents or issues - Create and maintain documentation, including systems configuration, processes, test and project plans - Performance optimisation analysis and tuning. - Provide technical guidance and support to the 2nd line Support Teams.
