Job Title: Investigations Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Investigations Officer to join our client on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Investigations Officer will join our clients Investigations and Complaints team and be responsible for investigating fraudulent claims and reducing fraud losses.

Job Description:

- To identify claims, appropriate for investigation by utilising all sources of information available
- To undertake investigations into potentially fraudulent claims
- To comply with legislative requirements governing the conduct of investigations
- To reduce fraud losses through efficient investigation and analysis
- To help maintain appropriate records for reporting purposes, and to allow audits to be carried out
- To identify and utilise appropriate investigative techniques to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- To undertake any additional complaints and investigations related work as directed by the Complaints & Investigations Team Leader and Finance and Payroll Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

- Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels internally and externally
- Must have an analytical approach to problem solving and an attention to detail
- IT skills particularly MSWord, Excel, and Access
- Experience of undertaking investigations of a similar nature desirable
- Experience of working within a regulated industry
- Proven skills in written communications
- Be able to work proactively on own initiative and also within a small team.

Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 6.00pm

Salary: GBP18,000 pa
