HEAD OF SCHOOL, SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The position of Head of School, School of Science and Technology is responsible for providing academic leadership in the disciplines of Engineering, IT and Pharmacy Science and related disciplines for all staff and students in the School. The position is located at the HCMC campus RMIT Vietnam.
The Head of School will provide leadership to promote the School as a centre of excellence in Vietnam and the Asian region. It is anticipated that the Head of School will be at the Professoriate level, a senior academic with a strong international standing who will exercise carriage of the overall academic and administrative functions of the School. This will be with particular reference to teaching and learning, research, planning and operationalising the Centre's strategic aims and objectives. In addition, it is anticipated that the Head of School will be actively engage with the many relevant industry contacts that RMIT Vietnam is fortunate to have given the graduates it produces.
The Head of School is expected to be research active, create networks/links to secure research funding, and to nurture a research culture amongst staff. .Meeting the requirements of RMIT University for admission to the University's Professoriate you will be a member of the Board of the College of Science, Engineering and Health of RMIT University and will be an active participant in the College's communities of research practice.
