Job Purpose and Scope:

As Project Manager you will take personal responsibility for the delivery various sized projects. On large projects, you will be responsible for specific elements, reporting to the a Project Director or Regional Management. You will be expected to lead the project team.

Sector experience - Heritage, Culture, Arts, (listed buildings, conservation, renovation) and Education.

Essential criteria:

• Educated to degree level in a construction or construction-related subject.
• Significant and demonstrable experience in Public sector related project management on listed buildings.
• Having worked with clients such as the Houses of Parliament, the Historical Royal Palaces, English Heritage, the National Trust, Universities, etc.
• Hold a construction related professional membership - RICS/CIOB/APM.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic and collaborative approach.
• Thorough understanding of the principles pf project management for construction.
• Ability to delegate tasks to team members.
• Computer literate - Word, Excel and MS Project.
• Experience of managing client relationships.
• Considerable experience in dealing with a variety of consultants and contractors.
• Knowledge of the main forms of construction contracts.

Desirable criteria:

• The ability to mediate in conflict situations.
• The ability to provide professional guidance and task management for junior team members
