Description Commercial Manager Walsall or London Permanent Full Time We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to play a crucial role in delivering growth in HomeServe's Connected Home Business. The successful candidate will lead negotiations to secure new strategic partnerships, drive the development of compelling propositions and identify attractive new routes to market in addition to; Developing key relationships with prospective partners, identifying opportunities of mutual strategic benefit in order to help secure new partnerships. Lead negotiations with prospective partners to achieve good balanced commercial agreements, with clear and aligned objectives. Using a collaborative approach to identify potential new Customer value propositions and/or routes to market that are consistent with the business' strategic aims. Gathering data and/or conduct experiments to substantiate assumptions or provide missing information needed to establish the viability of new concepts for Customer value propositions or new routes to market. Building robust business cases and work with stakeholder to achieve business approval to progress with new partnerships, propositions or routes to market. Ensure actual performance is tracked against the business plan. Working with business stakeholders to deliver scale roll-out for proven new value propositions or routes to market. Sponsoring projects to support the delivery of new partnerships, propositions or routes to market. Partnering with other projects where required. Maintaining up to date awareness the industry to help shape opportunities for solutions and partnerships (e.g. through, networking events, news, desktop research, industry shows, etc.). To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes: Essential: Educated to Degree level 5 years' experience in a commercial, marketing or financial role. Experience should include building business plans that have successfully gained stakeholder approval. Experience of securing or managing successful business partnerships Excellent multi-level stakeholder management with excellent interpersonal skills and communicates in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal) Excellent commercial acumen with experience of negotiating commercial contracts Organised, with excellent time management skills. Flexible, energetic and able to work well with others in a Customer centric, innovative and cross-functional environment Full project lifecycles experience from business development to final delivery.
