Customer Service Officer - Supporter Care

We are now looking for a Supporter Service Officer to join us to provide support across all areas of gift administration, delighting our supporters and inspiring them to continue giving. To deliver this we need strong customer service professionals who are passionate about our supporters.

Making outbound telephone calls/emails as required to new supporters, following up queries, verifying details or thanking donors, you will act as an ambassador for Supporter Care & Practical Action at all times. In the role, you will respond to all supporter enquiries and feedback in a positive and sensitive manner, keeping informed and up to date on all relevant activities of Practical Action in the countries of operation.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level in English and Math and have experience of working in a customer/supporter service environment. The successful candidate will also have excellent call handling and communication skills, experience of processing financial transactions and of using databases. With a good understanding of Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms, you will be able to multi task, work on your own initiative and also across a team, following business controls and systems.
