Assistant Contract Manager - Facilities Management

Our client, a globally recognised brand with a strong Facilities Management division is seeking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the hard services provision in the effective delivery of the Wolverhampton and Walsall LIFT projects, operational contracts and through organic growth this will extend to soft FM services across the contracts and wider NHS.

- Location: Field based covering Wolverhampton and Walsall
- Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP36,000pa + excellent company benefits to include company car / car allowance and attractive pension scheme

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the development and administration of systems to mitigate legislative, contractual and budgetary risk
- Monitoring contract service delivery for compliance against said systems
- Attending contractual audits as directed and developing action plans where non-conformance identified
- Ensuring reactive and planned maintenance is carried out without incurring service failures
- Assisting in the systems development and mobilisation of contracts involving FM services
- Providing timely reporting and trend analysis across the Lift co business functions
- Maintaining positive client relationships with all Liftco partners, engineering and support teams
- Producing monthly financial reports in readiness for submission
- Attending financial and contract reviews
- Recording, managing and maintaining all contract obligations

Must have experience/skills:

- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering technical qualification and background desirable.
- Recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
- Previous experience in a Hard FM focussed environment - experience within the Health Care / NHS environment is highly desirable.
- Commercial and contract management exposure.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- PC literate and previous experience of using CAFM systems preferred but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- LIFT/PFI experience desirable

This is a field based role where travel will be expected 50%-80% of the time. Homeworking will be considered.
