This company manufactures a varied selection of joinery & cabinetry items for the Commercial & Residential sectors. To carry out Bespoke joinery work on, major and minor construction work to a high-quality standard of finish. Must ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety. Full time permanent positions only, based at our head office in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, working on sites mainly in the London area, must be able to work away Monday to Friday. City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent would be advantage, with a valid CSCS card and the following experience. - To undertake joinery work on the full range of Bespoke Joinery installations - To repair and maintain Bespoke doors, door frames, windows, counters, reception desks, Bulk heads, screens, back bars, buffet islands etc. - To undertake all joinery work as necessary in the maintenance of flooring, roofing, skirting and ceilings - To construct as and when required cupboards, shelving, carcassing, simple formwork - Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation. - Ensure that all necessary paper work is completed and returned to the accounts team in accordance with established procedures. - To provide a service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship as a priority. - To act always as a representative of the Company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied. - Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the post objectives as required by Management (appropriate to the level of the post). - To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems or processes. - To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post. - Experience in working within a team, team environment. - Used to self-managing, prioritising workloads and ensuring tasks are completed on time. - Shop Fitting experience is a must Personal Attributes - Relentlessly Proactive, with a 'Can do' attitude to work - Prioritise and organise, taking a methodical approach, flexible and reliable - Present information clearly, concisely and professionally - Customer focused - Communicator & motivator with ability to communicate across all levels of seniority from the workface through to Senior Management level. - Providing routine correspondences both written and orally. - Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. - Experience in working within a team, team environment.
