This leading provider of energy efficient lighting solutions has a fantastic opportunity to join as a Customer Development Executive. After 20 years' supplying innovative and bespoke lighting solutions in the Retail, Point of Sale, Refrigeration and Transportation sectors, they are looking to bolster their dynamic, talented team as they develop their portfolio of products and expand their customer base. Based at their a fantastic, modern facility in Hilton, Derbyshire and the opportunity to professionally develop, you will work across a multi-disciplined team focused on their ambitious growth plans. The Customer Development Executive is a multi-faceted role responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads, Sales data and admin management and customer service. The role Working closely with their Project Enquiry Team and Sales, the CDE ensures leads are actively managed and lead processes followed. The CDE also acts as a bridge between sales, the Project Enquiry Team and Operations. Key responsibilities Telemarketing - Lead generation: identify leads through inbound calls, outbound calls, online research and networking events the business conducts - Identify key influencers within external businesses - Build and cultivate relationships with new and existing follow-up communications through the lead process - Maintain high volume of phone calls Data management - Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM ensuring communications are logged, information is accurate and result tracking - Manage the CRM database ensuring all data is updated and accurate Customer service - Manage clients enquiries regarding new enquiries, delivery - Manage inbound sales calls customer calls in absence of the account managers and manage new sales enquiries Sales administration - Produce sales reports - Update 'opportunities' on CRM where required - Send completed estimates / proposals to Account Managers Aptitudes Essential - Two years or above experience of working in a B2B sales/lead generation setting updating CRM - Ability to process and update information accurately and with a very keen eye for detail - Ability to work in a fast paced customer-service environment juggling multiple projects and enquiries - Strong verbal/written communication skills - Can do attitude Desired - Bachelor's degree but not essential
