Lecturer in Public Services


Full time 37 hours per week

Salary: £17,829 - £36,285 per annum

Based: Cauldon Campus

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* To teach and assess on courses including BTEC Introductory Diploma Public Services, BTEC L2 Public Services, BTEC 90 Credit/Extended Diploma in Public Services, NCFE Entry to Uniformed Services

* Engage in core duties including planning, preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
* Act as Personal Tutor to a group of students and undertake the duties associated with this pastoral role.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Possesses as a minimum a Level 3 qualification in public services

* Have a relevant teaching qualification or a willingness to train for one
* Previous experience of teaching on Public Services courses and experience working in the Public Service sector.
