Salary: GBP37,495 to GBP42,001 plus location allowance.
You will receive GBP37,495 the band minimum.
Progress to the band maximum of GBP42,001 will be via incremental progression.

Your Annual Pay will increase by 12.5% when working on shifts as well as frequent opportunities for on-call payments. In addition to this the role presently attracts a generous location allowance.

As our Senior Network Engineer, you'll work in a centre of excellence - contributing to the success of the UK's secure counter terrorism capability.

With an impressive background, you'll expand and maintain a business critical secure network. Proactive and forward-thinking, you'll identify and solve problems that arise with computer systems, maintain existing software and hardware and focus on making upgrades. As part of this, you'll install and configure networks - constantly looking for ways to make improvements. It's about building innovative, unique solutions with leading technologies.

To join us, you'll need experience of Cisco Routers and Switches, F5 Load Balancers, ASA/Juniper Firewalls and other Network technologies. You'll also have a background of working with Solarwinds technology and be confident managing your own workload via a ticket-based system. Collaborative and with great communication skills, you'll provide expert advice and work well within a team.
