Senior HR Business Partner - Business Divisions

Working with the Group Chief People Officer as a key member of the HR team you will join a fast-paced, progressive and challenging environment with the remit to work on the formulation and delivery of the HR strategy. Role purpose Partner with the Executive Director of the given Divisions to formulate effective People Plans, aligned to the HR strategy - Provide meaningful insight on performance and culture across the division, to support the development and delivery of effective People Plans - Effectively develop the Division and business via successful delivery of People Plans, aligned to the HR & business strategy - Support the Group Chief People Officer to deliver KPI`s and targets for the HR function as a member of the HR Leadership team - Build strong relationships and work in partnership with the Executive Directors and their leadership teams across the given business divisions - Provide trusted advice and counsel to the given Executives and senior leadership to support engagement and performance - Ensure effective union relations are developed and maintained - Design and deliver HR initiatives to meet the company vision and business area initiatives - Oversee and manage the delivery of change projects through initiation, gaining business owner and stakeholder input and agreement to the business case - Provide subject matter expertise, including engagement, positive performance culture, talent and resourcing, organisational design and development (with support for HR specialist functions) - Lead organisational design projects and act as a subject matter expert to the business. Lead organisational restructures in a timely manner and mitigating any proposed risks - Work as a member of the HR leadership team, ensuring close alignment of the Business Partnering activities - Manage, coach and develop HRBPs to develop the capabilities and professionalism of the HR function Skills, Knowledge and qualifications In order to be considered, you will possess/be: - Extensive, senior level HR experience gained in a fast paced commercial environment (e.g. service, retail, FMCG, private equity, financial services, data organisations) - Demonstrable record of leading significant HR interventions - Well-developed business partnering skills, including a successful record of building personal credibility and executive / senior level relationships with key business decision-makers and the HR team - Ability to work successfully across strategic through to local operational issues - Strong knowledge and experience of key HR areas, including engagement, positive performance culture, talent and resourcing, organisational design and development, employee relations - Commercially savvy, with energy, drive and a positive can do attitude - Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative - Confidence to influence and challenge key business decision-making - Operational people management skills - Experience of delivering change in a unionised environment.
