LOCATION: Wolverhampton

JOB TITLE: Service Advisor

SALARY: Competitive salary + commission - there are various levels of pay, depending upon your skillset, but this will be discussed at interview.

WORKING HOURS: Full time, on a rota basis: 4 days per week Monday - Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays.

THE COMPANY: Our client is an approved dealership with over 40 years' experience. Due to their recent acquisition of the BMW, MINI and Motorrad Centre in Wolverhampton they are looking for new team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience for existing and new customers.

THE ROLE: We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly professional Service Advisor who wants to deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.

Our client understands the importance of giving you the correct skills to enable you to do the job they require of you so you will be trained at the BMW Academy on all servicing skills which will result in a service certification qualification.

Key Responsibilities of the Service Advisor role to include:-
• Booking in vehicles
• Liaising with office staff, technicians and customers to ensure that an effective and smooth service is provided to the customer
• Keep customers up to date on the progress of work being completed and answer any queries.

THE CANDIDATE: Ideally but not essential, you will have previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or in a similar-type role. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, to communicate effectively with different people and be able to look for opportunities in difficult or testing situations.

Essential criteria for the Service Advisor role:
• Previous customer service experience
• Able to understand technical information
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Positive and confident attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to prioritise own workload
• IT literate.
