For this Graduate Teaching Assistant role you must be an enthusiastic Physics graduate who has previous experience supporting children and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in your degree. The perfect candidate will be able to use their approachable personality to help develop strong bonds with their pupils. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with a burning desire to help and develop pupils who need additional assistance to overcome learning barriers.

In this Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant position you will be working primarily as part of the high-achieving Science faculty. You will lead pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and offer general classroom support. New members of the support team are usually offered support from a Senior Teacher who has a long history of successfully helping TAs and LSAs and develop good practice that will allow them to impress in their teacher training.
