A commercial insurance claims management firm with a presence across the UK, and partnered to a global firm, is looking for Chartered/Certified Accountants who are looking to get into the truly unique and interesting world of Loss Adjusting. Managing multinational clients from Global Retail Stores, Supermarkets and Public Services, they are a growing firm looking to bring on 2 people (in Leeds and Birmingham) to help with their expanding portfolio of claims/clients. Role: Business Interruption (low volume/high value claims) Assessing claims: investigation and handling UK personal and commercial lines claims, e.g. fire, theft & fraud Corporate Recovery & Stock Loss / Loss Adjusting Collaboration - building relationships with insurers/underwriters/solicitors Referral point for brokers/customers including face to face negotiations Business development - grow your own desk Manage indemnity and fee spends Candidate: CII, ACII, ACA, ACCA qualified accountant Experience with Insurance market ideal No experience with claims/loss adjusting ideal Exposure with multiple product lines from commercial, residential, third party administrator (TPA) Must be hands-on, curious, keen and diligent Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements relating to the policy wordings (come compliance knowledge ideal) Benefits: Sponsored study support and training for CILA Qualification and membership Manage own portfolios in time - flexibility into line of work in future Immediate exposure to claims handling process Location: 2 vacancies, Leeds and Birmingham Salary: GBP30-40k p/a dependent on experience Type: Permanent, full-time
