Are you an academically gifted and enthusiastic graduate looking to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School?

Are you a 1st class or 2:1 degree holder, ideally in Maths, English, Science or Humanities?

Do you need to gain primary Teaching Assistant experience in order to support your PGCE/teacher training, or have already been accepted on a course and would like to get a head start on your peers?

Are you committed to a career in education as a Primary school Teacher?

***Teaching Assistant - 1st or 2:1 Class Degree
***September start 2017
***Central Birmingham
***Small Primary School
***GBP55-65 per day
***Full time, term time position
***Ideal experience for future

It is essential, in such a competitive market, that those wishing to start or apply for a PGCE need to gain as much classroom experience as possible. It is also of great importance that your experience is in a good school and you're well supported by the Head and other teaching staff.

My client school, a three form entry Primary school, can provide you with the experience and support necessary to support your application for a career in Primary Teaching. Based in Birmingham the school aims to enable all children to become confident, independent and self motivated learners, in an environment that allows all to maximise their true potential. The school values the diverseness of their local community and ensures a warm and caring environment for its pupils to learn in.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant you will be tasked with promoting good numeracy and literacy in the class room, working with small groups on special projects and at times working one-to-one with pupils'. You need to be both flexible and adaptable in order to best support the teacher with any given lesson topic. You also need to develop strategies to cope with the ever changing demands of a class and its individuals.

This is a demanding position and requires the appointed Teaching Assistant to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of classroom life. This will not only benefit the pupils' and the school but also yourself as you embark on a career as a Primary School Teacher.

If you are ambitious, reliable and 100% committed please send in your CV to Patrick at Edustaff.

If you don't fit the above criteria then you need not apply
