This Teaching Assistant position is open to a maths graduate who wants to eventually go on to teacher training.

This Teaching Assistant position requires a competent Maths graduate who has previous experience supporting children and a degree at a 2:2 or better. Your portfolio will include an affinity toward the teaching profession which fuels your passion for education and future ambitions. This vacancy is open to those who have the enthusiasm and the natural born skills to become an excellent teacher in the near future. Ideally, the school need a maths graduate who is able to stay enthusiastic and smiling at all times and cultivate valuable communication networks within the school as a Teaching Assistant.

In this Teaching Assistant position you will be joining the school's mathematics department. As a Teaching Assistant you will follow different needs and provide support to a specific area designated by the subject leader. You will have the responsibility of learning the best approach from an accomplished Outstanding Teacher who has already seen several graduates succeed in their PGCEs. You will be expected to lead your own small groups of children and mentor other 1:1 outside of class. In this pivotal year, you will progress from group management to whole class responsibility if you show the desire to do so.
