We are very excited to be working on behalf of a new indoor climbing concept, combined with soft play and a high quality cafe in Birmingham, West Midlands. Our client describes the concept as 'theme park meets climbing wall' and has proved hugely popular at both its sites in Hull and Whiteley with guests and families.
Our client has established itself as the operator of choice for retail and leisure park landlords and has many potential sites across the UK planned for the future - so come and join them on their journey!
THE ROLE: Sales Manager-Birmingham, West Midlands
As the company expands, our client is looking to recruit a Sales Manager at their Birmingham Centre, to support the onsite and marketing team in driving our business model to Groups, Schools and Corporates. The role will involve working closely with the Centre Manger, Head of Operations and Marketing team. We are looking for an individual who is ideally from a background in selling and marketing to schools, corporates, hospitality or leisure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager-Birmingham, West Midlands
• Capitalise on existing relationships and nurture these further to increase sales in line with targets.
• Generate prospects and seek new opportunities for off-peak business especially with schools, groups, corporates
• Manage and implement a plan of action to deal with the different selling cycles across key groups - schools, youth groups and corporates.
• Responsibility for driving and managing the booking process for client's party offering.
• Maintain and manage accurate data records and ensure the onsite team feed into this effectively.
• Work within existing marketing plan, KPI's and initiatives and help develop further recommendations.
• Co-ordinate with onsite teams to deliver high levels of customer service and product experience.
• Input into product development and service for these key groups.
• Be responsible for weekly reporting into the management team.
• Opportunity to mentor and take a lead role in the development of Group Co-ordinators at other locations. This role has the opportunity to grow into an area sales role and beyond as the company expands.

THE CANDIDATE: Sales Manager-Birmingham, West Midlands
We are looking for a natural sales person who comes from a background in hospitality, health club, Corporate or leisure sales. This is a role that requires passion, dedication and creativity, with the ability to influence and multi task.

KEYS CRITERIA: Sales Manager-Birmingham, West Midlands
• Experience of sales and/or marketing role in relevant sectors (Clubs & schools/Corporate/Leisure sales) within the Greater Birmingham area.
• Driving licence and access to vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organised and able to manage time efficiently.
• Be pro-active, able to work alone and equally be able to work as part of a wider sales team and the local onsite team.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Ability to multi-task is responsive to opportunities and work in a fast paced leisure setting.
• Flexible working pattern to meet business and Customer needs (early morning, evening, weekends)
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality and a positive attitude.
