Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small kitchen team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and level headed chef to help push our business forward. You will have at least 2 years experience in a single unit. You will need to have a good knowledge of cooking with fresh produce and have an eye for presentation.

The Role

?? To deputise for the Head Chef in his/her absence

?? Produce consistently high quality food in line with specification

?? Ensure that all appropriate legislation is complied with

?? Assist in the design, costing and preparation of menus

?? Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintain required levels of cleanliness and hygiene

?? Assist with the training and management of kitchen staff and identify any training requirements

?? Place orders with suppliers

?? Maintain a positive and professional attitude with colleagues and customers


?? 2 years experience in a similar role in a single unit

?? Demonstrable skills working with fresh produce

?? Some banqueting experience preferable

?? Your own transport

?? Food Safety level


?? Competitive salary up to GBP22k dependent on experience

?? Straight shifts 5 days out of 7

?? 45 hours per week

?? Training available

?? Pension
