This is an existing role working within the development department. The primary roles and responsibilities will be: Promoting the product Internationally. Analysing the market determining customer needs and markettrends. Formulating the software development roadmap with other bodies. Producing detail specifications for new products as part of the agile development process. Working with the Development Team to review ongoing development activities to ensure synergy between product development and customer expectations. Secondary responsibilities may include: Visiting customer sites to assist with account management. Reviewing training documentation. Understanding of MRP / ERP type software. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills both Customer-facing and internally between departments. They will be a highly motivated individual with excellent time-management skills. The ability to handle multiple projects at one time is critical and they should have previous experience in software product management, business analytics, or implementation, accompanied by a strong knowledge of project management principals. Experience: Experience in client-based software training and implementation extremely desirable Experience in project management desirable Experience in structural steel / fabrication OR management information systems beneficial Education: Minimum grade C in A Level English, Maths and Science (or equivalent) Degree in a relevant field desirable Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics : Excellent people skills – ability to get on with people from many backgrounds and cultures Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to organise and manage individual workload Strong written communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Strong understanding in general IT Confident travelling and working alone, reliable and punctual Available to travel internationally for periods of up to 10-12 weeks annually This job was originally posted as
