LOCATION: Bridgnorth, Shropshire

JOB TITLE: Experienced CNC Machinist /Operator

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary dependent on experience, up to GBP16 per hour + overtime available and company pension scheme.

WORKING HOURS: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm

THE COMPANY: Our client founded in 1987 are a UK based manufacturer of electronic fuel injection (EFI) individual throttle bodies (ITB) and induction systems for all levels of motorsport. Their products are manufactured in house at their site in Bridgnorth, Shropshire and they focus on performance, reliability, lightness and value, backed up by their own motorsport success.

THE ROLE: Due to the success of the company our client is currently looking to recruit staff to join their busy CNC Machine Shop and have the opportunity for an Experienced CNC Machinist /Operator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist /Operator role to include:-
Working across 6 CNC machines on the shop floor
Manufacturing motorsport components
Small batch part machining
Running, Programming and Setting machines

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have strong CNC control knowledge, including Haas and 4th axis machining experience. Small batch machining and CADCAM knowledge is a big advantage but not essential. The right candidate must be an excellent team player, plus a passion for motorsport is an advantage. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with excellent practical skills and a keen eye for quality.

Essential skills/criteria for the CNC Machinist /Operator role:
Previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Haas
4th axis machining experience
Able to commute to Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Desirable skills/criteria for the CNC Machinist /Operator role:
Control knowledge, ideally Siemens
Small batch machining and CADCAM knowledge
