Our pharmacy client has an exciting opportunity for a highly results orientated and self-motivated Key Account Manager to grow sales and membership by developing a portfolio of Regional Pharmacy groups.

The KAM will have responsibility for identifying opportunities for business growth by utilising both their commercial and service offerings to gain new business. The Key Account Manager will identify opportunities for business growth and, using strong commercial acumen, will create compelling and effective business proposals and presentations. The KAM will also be expected to be able to overcome challenges, networking with key stakeholders to find solutions.

With experience in a similar Account Management, Sales or Business Development role, they are looking for an individual with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical, retail and wholesale industry. Experience of managing profitability across categories when developing business proposals is highly desirable.

It is essential that you have the ability to negotiate, persuade and build strong relationships up to senior level. With excellent communication and analytical skills, you will be able to identify opportunities for business growth. Strong IT skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are also required.

This is a field based role and you will cover the Midlands region. You will be ideally based in, or close to, Birmingham.
This role requires the successful candidate to have flexibility to travel as required with occasional overnight stays. A full driving licence is essential.
