Rolls Royce our currently recruiting for experienced Inspector's to undertake an initial 12 month temporary assignment based in Derby. Working as part of a high performing team, the successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting across a number of functions in a technically demanding aerospace market working to manufacturing / engineering drawings, instructions, specifications & standards. The successful candidate will preferably have experience in an Aerospace environment, be self-motivated and be able to work with little supervision as part of an integrated high performing team. Essential Skills/Experience: - Completing inspection documentation as necessary - Raising failed inspection and correction documentation - Operating large CMMs, inspection gauges and tools will be the core skill used - Operation of the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system - Recording work details and non-conformance - Time served engineering apprenticeship - Use & understand a wide variety of different measuring equipment - Interpretation of Manufacturing Instructions & drawings - Working to Standard Operating Procedures - Lean manufacturing knowledge - Yellow belt accreditation - Low level machine and fixture maintenance - HPC knowledge and application Advantageous Skills - Secondary skills will include fitting / de-burring and vane filling. - CMM Operation - NDT Level 2 Qualified Rolls-Royce is known the world over for creating high-performance, integrated power solutions for use on land, at sea and in the air.
