Taking on this high profile role as a Business Intelligence Developer you will enjoy plenty of variety as you help to create innovative solutions to our growing data needs. This exciting challenge will put your knowledge of BI software, toolkits and supporting IT infrastructure to the test. As Business Intelligence Developer you will play an integral role in improving our decision-making and business performance ensuring data lead decisions can be made. You will work closely with the BI team and colleagues across our diverse business to make sure our BI capability is continually evolving to meet the growing business needs. Quickly gaining a good understanding of our data sources, structure and meaning, you will create logical and physical operational data stores, staging areas, dimensional models and analytical data sets. Your role will involve shaping processes that not only extract data from a variety of sources but transform data to implement business logic and populate the BI data store. You will also improve our data integration processes and continually monitor and develop our BI data store to maximise the availability of our data warehouse. You will need a strong understanding of data integration, data quality and master data management. An understanding of requirement gathering and dimensional modelling would be preferred for this role. You will also need to be a confident communicator with logical problem solving skills in order to excel at this exciting opportunity.
