Continuous Improvement Manager - business improvement/ lean/ six sigma / CI Manager Continuous Improvement Manager - business improvement/ lean/ six sigma / CI Manager required on a permanent basis for my West Midlands based client. The salary is paying £40-60,000 plus benefits, dependent upon experience. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for the initiation and delivery of continuous improvement projects across the business, in line with the Transformation portfolio and strategy. The role holder will have a real chance to deliver meaningful improvements to a business embarking on an exciting period of change and growth. Your Role - Responsible for the successful delivery, adoption and support of Continuous Improvement Initiatives in line with the Transformation Strategy - To initiate, formulate and present recommendations, based on analysis, in order to influence the decisions of Senior Stakeholders across the business - Interact and communicate with a wide variety and sometimes complex, stakeholder groups in an efficient and effective manner - Collaborative working across the business to include (and not limited to) retail, technology, shared services and HR to ensure successful and consistent delivery of change - Lead a cross functional team workshops to develop development of customer focused business processes and champion customer centric change within the organisation and support the effective delivery of this change for customers and colleagues in line with legal and regulatory requirements - Assess the effectiveness of operational activities, identify continuous improvement opportunities across the balanced scorecard - Manage risks & issues which could prevent project success and undertake key stakeholder management. - Support managers by coaching and mentoring them in order to ingrain Continuous Improvement in day to day practices. Essential Skills - Experience of complex CI improvement programme and project delivery - Strong lean and process improvement experience with evidence of delivering business benefits - Lean and six sigma exposure- ideally qualified - Experience of influencing senior and executive level managers, and driving change through - Ability to lead and engage cross-functional working groups - Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor messages and tone to audiences, with ability to communicate complex ideas simply - Extremely high level of attention to detail and ability to cut through complex data - Experienced in Project Management and Business Analysis - Skilled in the use of documentation and presentation software tools e.g.: MSWord and PowerPoint This is a great opportunity for an experienced continuous improvement manager to work with a business going through an exciting period of transformation, and drive through meaningful improvement initiatives.
