Fantastic immediate opportunities have arisen for two Maintenance Shift Managers to join this world class manufacturing facility based at BMW's Coleshill plant. This site is one of three engine manufacturing plants on the continent making engines for this leading automotive manufacturer.Two Maintenance Shift Managers are urgently required to be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily needs of a technical skilled Maintenance team. You will take a leading role in breakdown situations, maintaining volume output, supporting planned maintenance activities and managing and motivating all personnel on the shift.You will attend and participate in project planning activities, liaise with external and internal suppliers, plan and organise team members and continually complete system analysis to identify potential savings and/or efficiency improvements.The ideal candidate will have worked within a high volume manufacturing environment in a lead or management capacity, be qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering ideally to NVQ Level 5 or Degree level and have a proven background of working within an automated process environment.Previous experience of project and budget management, team development, new strategy planning and implementation for new projects would be highly advantageous.
