The Regulatory Transformation Senior Manager role is based within Commercial Banking, within the Regulatory change programmes including Global Standards and Conduct.

The role of the Regulatory Transformation Senior Manager is to implement a range of Regulatory and Risk activities which impact across all Commercial Banking (CMB) markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

Identify regulatory change and potential impacts on Global CMB Business Model Actively engage in the development and implementation of programmes to quantify impacts of regulatory changes on Global CMB, Liaise with relevant stakeholders within Global CMB, other Global Business and Functional teams to provide expertise support on regulatory changes related matters Ensure the appropriate timely and relevant information is provided to CMB management, Risk Management Committee and CMB Risk Committee Communicate a clear vision for Regulatory Transformation that is aligned to the overall HSBC vision, Values and goals, and inspires and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer-centred culture Lead, develop and motivate the leadership team to attract, retain and develop the capacity, capability and talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives Manage the processes, infrastructure and resources needed to deliver agreed team plans and targets, identifying and implementing improvements and collaborating with colleagues to maximise end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency Maintain a robust and efficient control environment across the business to ensure good operational, financial and project management and compliance with HSBC policy and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. Global Standards, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Front-line CMB is desirable but not essential Previous experience within a project/ programme management role Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. CRT, RRT, CDD is desirable but not essential A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications A successful track record of delivering complex projects and programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success

The base location for this role is Calthorpe Road, Birmingham.
