ISYS Systems is an established, very successful, Derby based software house providing leading IT Solutions to the Waste Management and Recycling sector. Following expansion and internal promotion we are currently recruiting for a number of talented individuals to further build on our excellent Client Support team. Main Responsibilities: Support of Waste Management applications provided to a UK customer base Identify, track and manage technical queries / customer requirements Responding to support queries via telephone, email & call logging system Connecting to customer systems to resolve queries Liaising with internal staff, external suppliers or 3rd party IT companies Interpret and record change requests/requirements Engage in knowledge management by creating and using materials Profile: Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritise tasks within a changing environment Logical with excellent problem solving skills Ability to keep cool under pressure Tactful and diplomatic Ability to explain complex processes and ideas in a straight forward way Skills/Experience Essential: Proven IT application support experience in a business environment minimum 6 months Experience working in a team-oriented environment An understanding of SQL with ability to write simple queries The successful candidate will be lively, bright, intelligent and personable. They will have good communication skills, be enthusiastic and have strong initiative. A 'hands-on' approach to dealing with technical issues is a necessity. A good part of the role is communication and you must therefore be able to demonstrate good skills in this area and understand the difference that can be made by effective communication from the support function.
