Randstad are delighted to be working with a large name in the automotive and industrial sector. They are recruiting for an experienced and professional Territory Sales Executive to join their busy sales network, based in the Derby area. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and selling a variety of goods to end user customers. Duties: The successful candidate will be required to build the customer base and confidence within the geographical area in preparation for a Franchisee to takeover. Responsible for visiting all calls and end users within a designated list on a weekly basis, in order to service ongoing requirements. Promote and upsell new products, process repairs and warranties in order to obtain optimal market share, as well as trial new product ranges before National Launch. Collecting on all Credit Accounts, as well as developing and maintaining a strong Revolving Account Programme. Maintain computer files and records whilst using computer systems to improve business performance, as well as completing all required weekly paperwork. Managing and controlling inventory levels and banking of takings, whilst maintaining high standards within the mobile store in merchandising, stock display and cleanliness. Find prospect names within the territory to ultimately take on the territory as a Franchisee, as the position would then move to an alternative territory. Skills Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as effective negotiating skills. Interpersonal skills, strong core values and enjoy interacting with customers in order to build relationships. Plan and prioritise their workload, be dependable, and at all times have a flexible, passionate approach to work. Experience in Sales/Customer Service or in on-the-job/technical training would be advantageous.
