Our Client is one of the World's leaders in the manufacture and supply of high technology mechanical components to the Automotive manufacturing sector. With a healthy order book; resulting in rapid expansion; the requirement now is to find an experienced Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis. On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable, albeit dependent upon relevant experience, basic salary, together with a full benefits package, inclusive of pension scheme, private health care etc etc.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will take control of driving reliability and efficiencies in the plant's machinery, equipment and tooling. You need to be a technically inclined leader, capable of leading a team of Maintenance Operatives/Technicians in a manufacturing environment. You will need extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and TPM (Total Predictive Maintenance).

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the cost effective, timely and appropriate maintenance of all equipment in the plant. As a Maintenance Manager, you will continue to develop the team of Maintenance Operatives/Technicians, setting the tone for pro-active maintenance activities. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will oversee daily trouble shooting activities as well as preventative and predictive maintenance efforts, schedules employees and projects.

Qualifications and Experience ideally required includes:

-Ideally, educated to Degree level in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, but equivalent experience will certainly be considered.

-Should be an experienced Maintenance Manager with ideally 10 years or more supervisory experience in a sizeable manufacturing environment.

-Experience working in the Automotive industry is preferred, but experience gained from other aligned industries will certainly be considered.

-You will need experience of maintenance strategy implementation (PM's / TPM).

-You will show a demonstrable track record of job progression, stability and measurable impact.

-You will be resourceful, of high energy and demonstrate a proactive approach.

-Experience of change management within an organisation needed.

-Excellent communication skills needed, together with strong problem solving abilities.
