Care Team Leader - Quinton

GBP19,595 - GBP23,948 a year - Permanent

Full Time 37.5 hours per week (including some weekends)

Location: William Lench Court - Quinton

Lench's Trust is an independent provider of Home (Domiciliary) Care to people living at home, in an Extra Care scheme. Our passion and focus is for providing high-quality person-centred care, treating all our residents with dignity and respect, and ensuring their safety, health, and well-being. We are looking for a positive and approachable individual to run our busy, growing home care team.

The role will involve: - Ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to all clients- Recruiting and managing the care coordinators- Engaging and building relationships and making sure the care service is cooperating with CQC regulations

You will be responsible for creating and managing the Weekly rotas
Taking on new work
Quality monitoring of the service
Be the first point of call for any queries or support required
Supervising the care workers
Liaising with Social Workers, District Nurses, Doctors and family members
Ensure carers deliver a consistently high quality of service to clients
Effective care planning, setting up new care packages and attending reviews
Undertaking Risk assessments
On call duties when required

At least one year of previous management experience
Have NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Have a good sense of humour
Wish to make a difference and help others
Are patient, approachable, compassionate & reliable
Are able to work within and lead a team
Have the right to work in the UK
Are over 18 years of age (due to legal restrictions in relation to giving personal care)
