An exciting opportunity for an experienced deputy manager

Chapter 1 is a charity and Registered Social Landlord that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people through a dedicated team of staff located throughout England. Our aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. We offer our services to anyone in need respecting their faith, culture and social background. We work in partnership with 29 local authorities and have a growing network of over 50 projects across the UK.

Position: Deputy Manager ( Housing & Settlement)
Location: Binswood, Warwickshire
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week
Salary: GBP25,968
Benefits: 25 days' annual holiday + bank holidays, Life Assurance, Pension scheme and an Employee Health Assistance Programme.

About the role:

Warwickshire Services includes accommodation and community support across a range of client groups including care leavers and single parents with young children and people at risk of homelessness.

They require a responsive and supportive deputy manager capable of the effective oversight of designated services and the learning and development team. You will be one of 2 deputies.

About you:

As the post holder you will have experience of working in a previous service management role with a knowledge of supervising staff and mentoring and motivating them to achieve objectives.

You will have a knowledge & experience of the supported Housing Sector, homelessness sector and of housing legislation.

You will have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written with the ability to engage with the people we support and external agencies to develop relationships and partnerships.
