We are currently recruiting for an experienced programme manager for a well-established power and energy generation company. This position is on a 12 month contract basis. The role will involve leading cross functional teams to ensure the continued progress of the full aspects of the programme. This specific project is focused on new software development for various functions within the power generation sector. Duties will include: Plan & develop different methods and procedures for implementing the programme. Direct supervision and coordination of all program activities. Full control and responsibility of personnel responsible for specific functions and phases of the program, such as software development and testing/troubleshooting, Holding regular progress meetings with all senior management and stakeholders. Skills and experience required: Extensive background in project managing software development. Experience and knowledge of control systems, and supervisory control systems. Good working knowledge of JIRA system. Prince2, PMI or PMP certification is essential. Certified Scrum Project Owner.
