Assystem are looking for enthusiastic Technical Control Engineers to work alongside a Gas Turbine Aerospace OEM, providing support to our client's Technical Publications organisation based in Derby. Responsibilities: Working with our client to ensure that the Engine Parts list (Bill of Material) reflects the current design intent for the new engine projects. Attention to details is a key requirement as the role entails keeping to the client procedures and release policies. Some of the key tasks for the successful individual are to support our client in creating and managing Parts in the engine assembly and investigating and close-out of Assembly Build Complaints. You will become a key support to Team's engine build management delivery. You will be expected to liaise with Assembly Engineers and Build Planners, in compliance to procedures & guidelines. Background & Experience: To be successful in this job the individual is required to meticulously manage and prioritise work within the timescales given, with the ability to liaise with Project Managers, Build Planners, Assembly Engineers and other third party contractors. Essential Skills: Excellent written & verbal communication skills Experienced in delivering high quality presentations Excellent organisational and Multi-tasking abilities Adaptable with good problem solving skills Meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated / disciplined Capable of working within tight time-scales IT - Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint Advantageous Skills: Working knowledge of Gas Turbine technology Knowledge of legacy systems (CODAC) Knowledge of Product Data Manager Metaphase (PDM) Understanding PLM Process / Structures & ABOM
